Nelson wrote the lyrics to a piece of music by his piano player Theodore Paxson.  The song was called "My Wonder One."  According to Larry Kiner's discography, This song was performed on Radio on The Electric Hour on January 13, 1946.  The arrangement of the song was done by Ned Freeman.  He did record this song in 1947 for the AFRS.

This song was the inspiration for the email address of the Forever Sweethearts and The Sweetheart's Clan email groups.  There is also the suspiction that this song might have been written by Nelson about Jeanette MacDonald.

My Wonder One
Theodore Paxson/Nelson Eddy
Arrangement by Ned Freeman

My wonder one,
My shinging sun,
I feel your thrilling vibration
Your witching face
Enchanting Grace
Have cast a spell of Elation

My magic you,
My dream come true,
My world's divinest creation.
My search is done,
My prize is won,
The wonder is, you're mine!

I see in your smile,
Something mesmerizing.
You have a winning quile.
Your touch is magnetizing.
I stand before you in surrender.
How I adore you,
With tender yearning,
I am burning.
